Abstract is my thing!

Why abstract? I enjoy the simplicity it gives to freely explore with color, shapes, layering & mark making. There is no pressure of having to draw something in particular. When working in my journal, anything & everything goes into the pages. I enjoy working with Watercolor, Gouache, Caran D’Ache Neocolor II, Chalk Pastels, Color Pencils & Acrylics on wood. My work is inspired by the colors and shapes I see in nature.
