Winter Fox in the City

This weeks we will be using watercolor pans, color pencils, and Carand’Ache Neocolor II to draw the foxes above. You could follow along with me on YouTube or you could just follow the instructions below.

First of all, gather your Supplies & sketchbook.

Secondly, you will draw story boxes. You could free hand it like I did or use a ruler for straighter lines.

Lastly, you want to spend time in your sketchbook daily! It could be as little as 5 minutes or as long as an hour, that’s up to you. You could draw in one square daily which is what I recommend but for this video I will be doing the whole page in one day.

Keep in mind that you want tell a story through your drawings. It could be serious like the second foxes walking down the street like he owns the road. What could the first fox be thinking about or looking at? Just think about it for a bit, would you like a silly, scary or funny story? Perhaps the foxes family is having a party on the roof of someone’s home? What about adding last week’s rabbits with your story? Have fun! Can’t wait to see what you will come up with!
