Winter Rabbits

This weeks we will be using Pan pastels, color pencils, and Carand’Ache Neocolor II to draw the winter rabbits below. You could follow along with me on YouTube or you could just follow the instructions below.

Instructions:

First of all, gather your sketchbook & Supplies.

Secondly, you will draw out 4-5 story boxes. You could free hand it like I did or use a ruler for straighter lines.

Lastly, you want to spend time in your sketchbook daily! It could be as little as 5 minutes or as long as an hour, that’s up to you. You could draw in one square daily which is what I recommend but for this video I will be doing the whole page in one day.

Keep in mind that you want tell a story through your drawings. It could be serious like the first rabbit. What could the other rabbits be running to or from? Just think about it for a bit, would you like a silly, scary or funny story? Perhaps you can add a Santa hat and scarf to the rabbit? What about a different setting other than the snowy mountains, or other character which the rabbits could be visiting or running away from? Have fun! Can’t wait to see what you will come up with!
